Welcome

My name is Hai Vu, I am just an ordinary guy from the greater Seattle. My website is a place for me to deposit my thoughts, notes, and comments.

Family pictures and videos

My hobby: photography

I have been learning photography and really enjoy taking pictures despite the less-than-average outcomes. Now aday, my primary camera is the Fujifilm S2Pro DSLR. I also keep a smaller camera with me most of the time, just in case creativity strucks. On the web, I mostly hang out at the Fujifilm SLR forum at DPReview website. Since I also own a canon camera, I also visit the Canon forum.

My Cameras

  • Panasonic DMC-LC1. See my impressions of this camera.
  • Canon A610 is a wonderful, well-rounded point-and-shoot camera.
  • Fujifilm S2pro is my big gun when all else failed.

My Stuff

I currently keep two separate blogs that I update at the rate of 1-5 entries per month. The Useful stuff blog is where I keep note of useful stuff that I found online. This blog is not only a note to myself, but also a useful resource for other people. The second blog, Humor and amusement, notes the funny and amused sites, pictures, video that I encounter.

My documents

  • 2006-02-07 added AA project document. Still missing in this project: exec summary, section 7, and customer section.
  • Audio Book Reviews is an Excel sheet I use to keep track of the audio books that I have listened
  • Here is Fortune magazine's list of 100 most desirable MBA employers for 2005

Contact me

I check mail about once a week on this address, so please be patient with me.

Some wiki notes

  • Need to quickly learn how to use bold, italics, tables, and more? Check out our wiki style page!

  • Start playing around with your own wiki! Click the Edit this page button either above or below!

  • Create a new page
    • You can type a word with SeveralCapitalLetters (or even type NewPage), which will automatically create a link to that page! A dashed underline means the page doesn't exist yet.
    • You can put [brackets] around any word to create a new page. For example, if you wanted a page named cars, you could just type [cars].
    • You can type the name of the new page in the search box and click on a link to create it.
